Maher Selim

Maher Ali Ahmed Selim earned a Bachelor of Theatrical Arts with a focus on Acting and Directing. His stage career includes performances in roughly 20 productions with the Vanguard Theater under the direction of Samir El-Asfouri. Among his most prominent roles were appearances in The Bald Singer and Cairo 80. He furthered his education by completing a three-year postgraduate directing diploma at the Academy of Arts. In 1992, he was awarded a scholarship to study directing at the Accademia Nazionale d'Arte Drammatica Silvio D'Amico. Throughout his career, he has taken part in numerous international festivals, including events in Carthage and Jordan.
