Holiday Unplugged

Sally, an art teacher, has devoted the past decade to keeping her late husband Jake’s memory alive while raising their kids, Keegan and Boo. Now ready to open her heart again, she tries a dating app and connects with Damon, a former colleague who once taught her children in kindergarten. Jake had co-founded a website that archived family home videos. After a server migration erases Sally’s cherished footage of him—and her phone, holding the backups, shatters by accident—her only recourse is tracking down the original tapes. To keep Keegan and Boo unaware of the loss and buy time until the videos are restored, Sally declares a screen-free Christmas while quietly hunting for the tapes.
