Outside Edge

Outside Edge is a British sitcom penned by Richard Harris, adapted from his 1979 play of the same name. It follows two couples with opposing outlooks—Roger and Miriam Dervish, strait-laced and conventional, and Kevin and Maggie Costello, free-spirited and daring—who gather each Saturday at Brent Park Cricket Club. Among the regulars are Dennis Broadley, a predatory womaniser; Nigel, shy and gullible; Alex Harrington, a pretentious solicitor; and Bob Willis, a henpecked husband and eventual father, plus various others who pop up throughout the series.
