Greek detective Helen Moustakas is taken aback when New Zealand farmer Shirley Rangi claims to be her half-sister. Although skeptical, Helen consents to a DNA test. Meanwhile, she is assigned to look into the murder of an archaeologist, a case in which Shirley inadvertently becomes a valuable asset in uncovering the truth.
