S01E01 Adam's Cub

Eliza Bowker (Kristen Curry), a young girl journeying west with her parents, Hank Kendrick and Lucky Hayes, finds herself lost in the expansive mountain wilderness. While her parents search desperately for her, Eliza wanders through the forest, feeling scared and alone. A mountain lion begins to stalk her but is swiftly chased off by a protective grizzly bear named Ben. Realizing that Ben means her no harm, Eliza follows him back to the cabin of Adams (Dan Haggerty). Adams takes her in, feeds her, and listens to her tale, promising to help her reunite with her parents. Together, they set off to search the nearby mountains. As their adventure unfolds, Eliza inspires Adams to improve his lifestyle, prompting him to tidy up both his cabin and himself. When Mad Jack (Denver Pyle) shows up, he's astonished to find Eliza there and is taken aback by the newfound order of Adams' home. With Mad Jack's assistance
