A hatchback driver fleeing pursuit causes chaos by smashing into a bollard, which exposes live wires and cuts power to the local boating lake. In Wellingborough, Alex and Lewis grow suspicious of a recognisable figure wearing a balaclava; a search turns up weed in his pocket and a samurai sword tucked into his waistband. Meanwhile, officers bring a driver's date to an unromantic halt, arresting him for driving under the influence of cocaine.
