Kuzco encounters his first real challenge to his reign as Emperor when he struggles in gym class. His teacher warns him he might fail if he can't beat Kronk in a race. Meanwhile, Principal Amzy, who is actually Yzma in disguise, instructs Kronk to transform Kuzco into a turtle to ensure his defeat. However, in a twist of fate, Kronk mistakenly gives Kuzco the wrong potion, turning him into a rabbit instead.
