DARK MACHINE THE ANIMATION

S01E03 Our Language: 1924 -1929

This episode brings to life vibrant figures such as the sorrowful Bix Beiderbecke, the dynamic Bessie Smith, and the boastful Jelly Roll Morton, making jazz history captivating. A particularly poignant focus is on Bix Beiderbecke, the white cornet player whose family rejected his career choice. Tragically, his talent was overshadowed by the racial segregation in the music industry, preventing him from recording alongside legends like Louis Armstrong.
