Mikey connects with a 15-year-old airplane enthusiast in England through Skype, who reveals that Buffalo’s DC3–WZS–was part of the D-Day operations. Inspired, Mikey plans something memorable for the 70th anniversary and invites Cory to join him for a tandem parachute jump, discovering that Cory’s grandfather was a paratrooper during the Normandy invasion. Meanwhile, Mikey shows kindness to Prefkar, who is working the ramp in Hay River, by offering him pilot training on the morning DC-3 freighter. Unfortunately, Prefkar finds himself replaced by pilot David Alexandre. Just when he thinks he has another chance, fog rolls in, complicating matters.
