Liv Moore, a medical resident, transforms into a zombie, causing her to lose her drive. However, she finds purpose again by taking a job at the city morgue, where she can access brains that provide her with the nourishment she needs to stay human. In an unexpected twist, she discovers that consuming these brains allows her to tap into the memories of the deceased, which she uses to assist in solving their murders.
