S01E01 After All This Time

Five years ago, ambitious secretary Penny Warrender was about to tie the knot with bookie Vince Pinner, but he left her at the altar. Since then, Penny has endured a troubled marriage with Graham, which ended in divorce, while Vince remains unattached. Fate brings them together again in a pub, both accompanied by unsuitable dates. While waiting by the cigarette machine, Penny confronts Vince, still harboring resentment, but he tries to ease the tension. As they talk, they begin to consider the possibility of rekindling their relationship, albeit as friends.
